Momming Half Crazy

I hope you and yours have a Wonderful Thanksgiving!   I am thankful for my fun loving and somewhat crazy family (yes even the disfunctional parts).  I am especially grateful that my littles still want to hold my hand while in the car...I know this phase will pass all too quick.  I am also grateful for my cats and memes that make me think of my own 'fat cat', Pip! Take a step back and laugh at the crazy, one day you may miss it...or at least will provide fodder for the water cooler next week! 😜 Xoxo, S

Sooo this morning my older son's hair was bothering me. Not in a tickle my nose until I sneeze type of way, but in a 'he looks like a shaggy dog' way. Now he didn't look full on shaggy dog, but just around the neck. You may think, 'Well just take him for a haircut'.  I have done that before and it is $25 for a half good cut where I end up covered in hair because he refuses to sit in those fun cars until AFTER the cut. So there I am holding a whining/crying toddler with a stylist acting like a ninja around me to just get it somewhat even. Due to the above whoopla, when Amazon Prime Day came around there was a 'deal' on clippers/scissors set . I figured I could do a decent enough job and the set would pay for itself in 2/3 cuts (which it has). The past few months I've been cutting both boys hair at their strap in chairs while they watch tv...keeps them mostly still.  It has been fairly successful with only minor hair drama...until today. 💇‍♂️ ...

Hi! Welcome to the documentation of my crazy (hopefully the good kind...) and fun (at least it is to me) life! I am a bit all over the place and tend to find myself in extreme situations...both good and bad!! (Think free tickets to a Superbowl to being attacked by a Red Stag in a Lonfon park). I am married to a mail order hubby (kidding, kinda - he is from South Africa) and we have two active lovable little boys (currently 3.5 and almost 2). Will write more soon! Xoxo, S PS.
